We're sorry your vehicle has been repossessed. This is the part of the business no one likes. Please see the following for repossession rules:
In State Repossessions:
These are Guidelines only. Every account is different.
Repossession Hours: Monday - Friday 10am-4pm. Saturday 10pm-3pm. Excluding holidays, or dealer closed days.
We need the key by the following business day after repossession.
Rekey fee of $150 will be assessed if we don't have the key the following business day. This needs to be paid before releasing your belongings.
Belongings Are Available 2-4 Hours After we get the key.
If the 2-4 hours are past repossessions hours then you need to come the following business day.
You have 10 days from date of repossession to pick up your belongings. After the 10 days your belongings will be disposed.
Your Belongings:
- We need the key by the following business day. If we don't get your key by then a key will be made at a cost to you. The cost is $150.
- We need the key or the $150 to release your belongings
Redemption:
Your vehicle may be redeemed, which means given back to you. Every account is different. Most of the time you will be asked to pay all past due amounts, plus the repossession fee (usually $495 for local), plus certified letter fees ($35), plus any other fees (rekey fee, repairs, etc.). Insurance must be active. Some accounts are only eligible to be redeemed with an entire payoff, meaning everything you owe to payoff the vehicle, not just past due amounts. This is not definite, every account is different.
Non-Local Repossessions:
Your belongings will most likely be transferred to us with the vehicle.
You need to make arrangements to have someone pick up your belongings if you are out of state.
Most repossession companies do not service belongings because of their sensitive nature.
Redemption: in most cases Non Local Repossessions are only eligible for payoff redemption, we will not give the vehicle back by just paying the amount past due and repossession costs.
